    Englands Golf Coast

    England’s Golf Coast is home to 11 of the finest golf courses in Britain. With no less than 7 courses in the ‘Top 100 Courses of the UK & Ireland‘ the concentration of championship golf available is unparalleled.

    The 3 Open Championship venues of Royal Birkdale, Royal Liverpool and Royal Lytham & St. Annes have hosted The Open an impressive 31 times between them since 1897. These courses are now synonymous with the best golf offers, and Southport and Wirral provide excellent bases from which to explore and enjoy England’s Golf Coast.

    Royal Liverpool Golf Club
    Royal Liverpool Golf Club at Hoylake has staged major tournaments throughout its long history including eleven Open Championships and many amateur events.

    Wallasey Golf Club
    Wallasey Golf Club was founded in 1891 and, with its undulating fairways and sand dunes, it is a traditional links of 6,607 yards. It is situated on the Wirral peninsula overlooking Liverpool Bay and the Irish Sea, leaving it open to the elements, and in particular, the wind.

    Heswall Golf Club
    Founded in 1902 and enjoying a splendid aspect on the Dee Estuary, Heswall Golf Club is one of the very best golfing venues. The gently rolling parkland course affords the Golfer all that is good in the game; scenic beauty with views over the Dee estuary to the Clwyd hills

    Caldy Golf Club
    The Caldy Golf Club course provides a unique blend of seaside and parkland golf. Situated on the estuary of the River Dee, the course straddles the Wirral Way – an old railway line which is now a country park.

    Bromborough Golf Club
    Located in the mature part of the Leverhulme Estate at the heart of the Wirral Peninsula, Bromborough is renowned as a hidden gem of a golf course; “Wirral’s Parkland Jewel”.

    Prenton Golf Club
    Prenton provides a challenging parkland course that welcomes all visitors. Once there, you’ll can take advantage of the comfortable clubhouse where you will find a warm welcome, good food and the customary 19th hole refreshments.

    Eastham Lodge Golf Club
    Situated in a picturesque area of the Wirral, overlooking the River Mersey, Eastham Lodge provide a fine test of golf that won’t leave you fatigued or your legs weary. Rated as Outstanding and in the Top 100 in the UK, they have a mature parkland course with plenty of natural hazards that will excite you, frustrate you, and if you keep your concentration, ultimately reward you.

    Wirral Golf Club

    Laid out when Wirral was countryside and seashore, the course fits effortlessly into the natural environment, covering the highest open land on the peninsula. This largely hidden green oasis retains its heritage of small copses and heathland, and has become an important habitat for wildlife.

    Bidston Golf Club

    Leasowe Golf Club

    A links course situated on the shoreline of the north coast of the Wirral peninsula, located just a mile from Junction one of the M53, the course is easily accessible from all parts of the region.  With superb panoramic views extending from the mountains of North Wales and across Liverpool Bay towards the Lake District, the modern Clubhouse provides a fine venue in which to enjoy an excellent range of food and refreshments.
